I spent almost two decades as a mortgage broker before I started The Sun Broker. In that time I helped families refinance their homes, save thousands a month, and free up cash flow they didn't know they had. It was good work.
But I kept watching the same story play out. A family would refinance, get their monthly payment down, and feel like they'd won. Then PG&E would raise rates again. And again. Within a few years, the savings I'd helped them find were gone — eaten by the one bill nobody could help them with.
I started The Sun Broker because I wanted to bring mortgage-broker diligence to the second-largest bill in the average home. We don't sell solar panels. We don't have a quota or a catalog. We look at your actual usage, match you with an installer we trust, and tell you the truth about whether the numbers work for your home.
