Nine steps, and you make the decisions while we manage everything else. The crew on your roof comes from Continuum, our install partner, who’s completed thousands of installations across Northern California — they’ve seen every kind of roof, panel, and permitting office, so yours won’t surprise them.
The whole thing takes 6–10 weeks. Solar panels on your roof. You don't buy them. An energy company owns and maintains them, and you buy your electricity from them instead of from PG&E, at a lower rate locked in for 25 years.
We handle every step in between: permitting, design, install, inspection, utility paperwork. You sign off when it's time, and we let you know what to expect along the way.
We learn about your home, what you're paying now, and what you want solar to do for you (lower bill, backup, EV charging). And we check basic qualification.
Most solar reps design from a single bill. We pull your full 12 months of utility data and model your home on professional design software. Sun, shade, layout, system size: built around your actual home.
We send the proposal, then walk through it together on Zoom. Every number, every assumption, every term. You ask questions. We answer in plain English.
A technician visits to confirm the system layout and inspect your roof and electrical panel — making sure they can support a 25-year system. No cost. You only pay if you move forward.
With site survey results in hand, we finalize design and pricing. No equipment is ordered, no permits pulled, no install scheduled until you give the green light in writing.
Continuum handles every utility form, every city permit, every HOA approval, every final inspection. The longest stretch (4–6 weeks) is almost all waiting on utility timelines.
Continuum's crew arrives in their own trucks, in their own uniforms, and finishes most installs in 1–2 days. On time. Cleaned up.
The utility grants final Permission to Operate (PTO). Your system starts producing. Your locked-in rate begins.
Monitoring, maintenance, and warranty work are all covered for the full 25-year term. If something underperforms, one call sends the right team out to fix it. Nothing for you to manage.
The first conversation matters most. We'll find out if your home qualifies and walk you through what a real proposal looks like.
